Here's a better view of this outfit. I really wish I had taken more photos and better ones while at the festival. The dress was pretty comfortable to wear, even for playing in!
My biggest complaint was the lower sleeves - wish I had made them a lot fuller! By next year I hope to be making my French hoods a lot better, too.
She soo cute
Oh my god! This is so very super cute and so fantasticly done. <3
You are a sweetheart!! Thank you!! I also enjoyed looking through your beautiful photography. You have such an eye for detail.
I wish I had a dress like this to wear to the Renaissance Fair. This is an amazing piece of work. I especially love the beaded collar and French hood.
Aww, thanks! I've always wanted my own costume, so I started sewing last year and made my first Tudor costume, but in child size. It was fun, but I'm still practicing!
Aww that's adorable!
That's an amazing work! I love it!
Wow, great! It even doesn't look like a costume which is rare
Thanks for the compliment, especially coming from an artist such as yourself!
You have brighten my day when I needed it the most
most excellent work
Hooo, snap. Nicely done. Love her little French hood.
I love the colors and the whole design! Amazing!
Thanks!! I only had just over 4 yards of the teal/gold fabric and BARELY had enough to make it! But even with its flaws, I'm actually happy with it.
I can't see flaws but I'm glad you made it on the last inches. I know that with yarn too and I always hope the ball would last until the projects is finished, especially when it's a special color.
Awww she looks so gorgeous! I like the pleating in the back a lot and the colors. *me wants in a bigger version*
