Child's Teal/Gold Tudor Dress and French Hood

It's been a while since I've posted anything, but I wanted to share my most recent project - another girls' Tudor costume for the Renaissance Festival of 2013. The dress was made with beautiful teal and gold damask fabric, golden/ivory complimentary fabrics, fully lined black faux fur fore-sleeves, and black velvet for the French hood. The trim and jewelry consist of glass pearls, metal beads, and acrylic gems. My model is wearing a small farthingale underneath.

I know my designs are not historically accurate, but my intent is to make beautiful clothing that is easy and really comfortable to wear (children are quick to tell you if they don't like something!). Despite making a few children's costumes, I'm still new to sewing and hope to keep improving. Please feel free to leave comments or any advice. Thank you for looking!!
